At Smoke Dogg Cigars, we understand that a premium cigar is only as good as the condition in which it arrives. We utilize humidity-controlled packaging and specialized carriers to ensure your sticks arrive "ready to light."

  1. Age Verification & Adult Signature - In compliance with federal law and the PACT Act:
    • Requirement: All orders must be placed by individuals 21 years of age or older.
    • Adult Signature Required (ASR): Most shipments will require a signature from an adult (21+) with a valid government-issued photo ID upon delivery.
    • Carrier Compliance: We do not ship via carriers that do not support age-restricted delivery for tobacco products.
  2. Shipping Destinations & Restrictions - Due to complex state and local regulations, Smoke Dogg Cigars has the following restrictions:
    • State Bans: We currently do not ship tobacco products to:
      • Hawaii: Due to state-level remote retail bans.
      • Utah & South Dakota: Due to internet tobacco sales restrictions.
      • California: Shipments to CA require a phone confirmation after 5:00 PM PT the day prior to shipping and a mandatory Adult Signature.
      • PO Boxes: We cannot ship tobacco products to PO Boxes. A physical residential or business address is required.
      • International: We currently only ship within the United States and to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses.
  3. Humidity & Freshness Guarantee - We treat your cigars like royalty while they are in our care:
    • Climate Control: All cigars are stored in our Spanish Cedar walk-in humidor at a constant 70% humidity and 70°F.
    • The Boveda Advantage: Every order of 5+ cigars or any unsealed box includes a complimentary Boveda humidity pack to maintain optimal moisture levels during transit.
    • Acclimation Tip: Even with humidity packs, shipping can "stress" tobacco. We recommend letting your cigars rest in your humidor for 48–72 hours after arrival before smoking.
  4. Processing & Delivery Times
    • Order Processing: Orders placed before 1:00 PM EST (Monday–Friday) typically ship the same day.
    • Standard Shipping: Usually arrives within 3–7 business days.
    • Expedited Shipping: 2-Day and Overnight options are available at checkout.
    • Note: Expedited shipping does not bypass the Adult Signature requirement.
  5. Shipping Rates
    • Free Shipping: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders over $125.
    • Flat Rate: Orders under $125 are subject to a flat-rate shipping fee of $9.95.
    • Taxes: State-specific tobacco excise taxes will be calculated and added at checkout based on your delivery address.
    • Order Tracking & Undeliverable Packages
    • Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.
    • If a package is returned to us because no adult was available to sign for it, a 15% restocking fee plus the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  6. California Shipping & Compliance Disclosure - Required for all orders shipping to the State of California. n compliance with California Senate Bill 39 and Assembly Bill 3218 (2026 update), Smoke Dogg Cigars adheres to the following strict requirements for all California deliveries:
    • The "Unflavored Tobacco List" (UTL): We only ship products to California that are explicitly included on the California Attorney General’s Unflavored Tobacco List. Per state law, flavored cigars, flavored little cigars, and flavored blunt wraps are strictly prohibited and cannot be shipped to CA addresses.
    • Order Confirmation: We are required by law to telephone you after 5:00 PM PT on the day prior to shipping your order to confirm your purchase.
    • Conspicuous Labeling: Your package will be clearly labeled with the following: "CONTAINS TOBACCO PRODUCTS: SIGNATURE OF PERSON 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER REQUIRED FOR DELIVERY."
    • Adult Signature Required: An adult (21+) must be present to sign for the package. Our carriers will not leave tobacco products at a doorstep or with a minor under any circumstances.
    • Licensing & Reporting: Smoke Dogg Cigars is a licensed tobacco delivery seller in California and complies with all monthly PACT Act reporting and state excise tax requirements.
  7. Military (APO/FPO/DPO) Shipping FAQ  
    • Smoke Dogg Cigars is proud to support our men and women in uniform serving overseas.
      • Do you ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses?
        • Yes! We ship to most military addresses via USPS Priority Mail. Because USPS is the only carrier authorized to deliver to military post offices, we handle these shipments with extra care to ensure they survive the journey.
      • What are the restrictions for military mail?
        • No Lighters/Fuel: Due to aviation safety regulations (HAZMAT), we cannot ship torches, butane lighters, or lighter fluid to APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
        • Customs Forms: We handle all necessary customs documentation (PS Form 2976-R). Please ensure you provide the recipient’s full name, rank, and unit.
        • Local Prohibitions: While treated as domestic mail by the USPS, these shipments are still subject to the laws of the host country. If a specific country prohibits tobacco imports, we cannot fulfill the order.
      • How do you ensure freshness for long transit times?
        • We know military mail can sometimes take 1–3 weeks to reach its final destination.
          • To protect your investment: Double-Boveda Protection: We include extra-strength 2-way humidity packs in every military shipment.
          • Vacuum Sealing: For loose sticks or samplers, we utilize professional-grade vacuum sealing to lock in moisture for up to 60 days.
      • How do I format my address?
        • To ensure delivery, please use the following format:
          • City: Enter "APO", "FPO", or "DPO"
          • State: Select "AA" (Americas), "AE" (Europe/Middle East/Africa), or "AP" (Pacific)
          • Country: Always select "United States"
